As the recognised trade union operating within Currys the CSCSA can provide various services – to be entitled to services you must be a member. It is free to join.
Simply complete this membership form at the bottom of this page, detach and hand to any trade union representative.
The Trade Union industrial relations reps across the business provide a variety of services both personal – from representation at disciplinary/ grievance situations through to support for colleagues with mental health issues (all our reps have qualified as mental health first aiders), mediation (we have an ACAS certified mediator), parental, maternity leave situations, flexible working requests and sickness/absence policy.
Through to corporate services-consultation around substantial change, rotas etc, negotiating terms and conditions, policy changes, redundancy, transfer of undertakings, protection of employment- TUPE and collective bargaining, bonus criteria etc. – we cannot give advice upon pensions & share plans because of legislation.
Our health and safety representatives can conduct investigations into anything which may have an impact upon our members health, safety and wellbeing using legislation made available under the health and safety at work act.
For a full description of services or advice on a situation relevant to you please contact your site CSCSA representative. If your local representative is unavailable, please contact the CSCSA office on 07730540536 and leave your contact details.
NB For colleagues with mental health issues you DO NOT have to be a member. Contact your local Rep or the core team
